We offer everything from British classics and decadent desserts to more exotic influences from overseas. With food for larger appetites to smaller bites we have something to suit all tastes.

Our food ethos

At The Fat Fox Inn we strive to offer a seasonal menu, using fresh vegetables, meat and game with proven providence from South Oxfordshire. We offer a short menu which changes daily.
My cooking is British, influenced by our food allies from Europe and the Common Wealth. My menus will always include some traditional British dishes such as soft boiled scotch egg with celeriac. I also will offer a few dishes influenced by our historic food partners, such as Italian Gnudi (like gnocchi but made with polenta breaded ricotta cheese) with broccoli, mushrooms & parmesan.
We make all our own ice creams and sorbets. For pudding, depending on the season, we always offer a traditional British dish like a fruit crumble with custard or dark chocolate torte with a chocolate chip cookie base served with crème fraiche.
